FOSTER LINDA

Linda is a delightful mix of German shepherd, Belgian shepherd, Rotweiler (we're not quite sure), aged around 1-2 years (also unsure), who was abandoned sometime in 2025, losing her entire litter of 12 puppies.

We took her in for an initial three nights, and - three months later - we're still trying to find her forever home.

Despite her rough start in life, Linda is the most gentle, humble, grateful and obedient dog we ever met - someone who never stops wagging her tail. She loves chasing balls in the local dog park (very fast!), tackling tricky chew toys, acting as co-pilot on car rides, and taking long walks in the Hollywood Hills. Absolutely no trouble whatsoever - the most placid roommate we've ever had.

Still quite young - under 2 years - Linda remains highly trainable, and is VERY smart. A fast leaner currently undergoing obedience lessons with a professional trainer.

Although placid at home, Linda is energetic when outside. For that reason, we feel she is best suited to a home with a yard, lots of space, and / or the chance to run free with an active parent.

Linda loves to sprint! 

She is house-trained, up to date on all her shots, sleeps soundly, and her coat doesn’t shed. She is most happy when she finds an abandoned tennis ball in the dog park and decides to 'pay it forward' by bringing the ball back home! Yay! - thanks, Linda! 

She is registered with the local rescue, Mutternity Project, which supports canine moms. Applicants for Linda's care are managed by this organization.
